The reporting, writing, interviewing, and storytelling skills I gained as a journalist have given me the ability to be an effective content marketer. My approach to content marketing is to always put the customer first and connect with them through relatable, conversational writing. I always ask, "what does our audience care about?" and "how do we show them how we can help solve their problems?" Content marketing should be simple and effective. You'll never catch me using jargon.
At the end of the day, I consider myself a storyteller above all else. I love asking the questions, I love telling stories, and I love connecting with audiences.
