With over two decades of experience in the world of eCommerce, I consider myself an expert in this field. I started as a developer and have since become obsessed with UI/UX design. My journey began with the Yahoo Store, but I quickly realized its limitations and built my own system. Despite making over $3 million in sales within the first year, the store was eventually shut down, and I failed.
Undeterred, I started a new fashion site that grew to $10 million in sales. Unfortunately, the economy crashed, and I failed once again. This humbling experience led me to work as a Senior Developer for eBay, where I worked on projects for major brands like ToysRus, Sony, and Timberland.
Despite my success, I knew that working for someone else wasn't for me. I started my own agency, where I'm able to use my extensive knowledge of eCommerce to help other business owners avoid the mistakes that I've made. I've experienced just about every pain point that an eCommerce business owner can face, from optimizing picking and packing processes to choosing the right shipping software and payment processor.
Throughout my career, I've sold a variety of products, from diet pills and informational kits to bongs and smoking accessories. But I've learned that I prefer coding to sales. Still, my experience as a business owner, task operator, and developer has given me a unique perspective and the ability to tackle problems from multiple angles.
