I also spent a year in horticulture and compost projects to better understand the complex relationships in an ecosystem. The most productive and sustainable systems leverage diverse cross-functional elements. The more different organisms can connect in a biodiverse system, the more resilient the entire system is to environmental pressures. Similarly, I've found when working with people, the most valuable relationships come from understanding others and overlapping your interests with theirs.
