Podcast Episode

I am an award-winning tech visionary, entrepreneur, and strategist in Artificial Intelligence (AI), boasting over a decade of experience in propelling products from ideation to delivery and commercialisation. Celebrated for my thought leadership and dynamic public speaking, I continuously shed light on the expansive realm of AI and digital transformation.

As a member and active contributor to both the British (BSI) and International Standards Organisation (ISO) AI committees, my commitment to responsible and ethical AI deployment is clear. I played a key role as a sub-editor within a team of four to develop the global AI Data Lifecycle Standard ISO/IEC 8183. This collaboration not only highlights my notable contribution to the UN Sustainable Development Goals but also led to my being shortlisted for the ‘CogX Global Goals Impact Award’.

At the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC), I oversaw significant digital transformation. One of my notable achievements was inventing a patented AI-driven multi-territory video classification solution (Patent No: US 11,678,015 B1) that was unveiled to the Media and Entertainment industry at MESA. I also ideated and managed the delivery of multimodal AI, a solution that utilised speech, audio, and visual technologies to discern compliance issues in video content and accurately assess their severity. Through my strategic orchestration, I brought together Amazon Web Services and the University of Bath, and secured crucial Innovate UK funding to bring the project to life. The result was showcased at the London AI Summit.

My entrepreneurial journey includes steering 'Looks Good On Me,' a tech startup focused on infusing sustainability within the fashion industry. This venture thrived with substantial grant funding and an esteemed position in the London Accelerator Academy.

Throughout my career, I've successfully led investment rounds, from Angel to Series B, and raised over £1M in grant capital from various sources, including Innovate UK.

My active involvement in the Swedish Chamber of Commerce UK (SCCUK) and the Norwegian-British Chamber of Commerce UK (NBCCUK) showcases my dedication to nurturing the next generation of global business leaders. My international network broadens as I further global innovation with the launch of 'Startup Voice,' a podcast championing entrepreneurs worldwide.
