Michael Rispin

Michael Rispin is a results-oriented legal advisor and people manager with over nine years of experience advising technology companies on securities law issues, corporate governance, executive compensation, financing transactions, M&A transactions, technology transactions, general commercial matters, corporate compliance, and overall legal strategy. He has served as in-house counsel for small, mid, and large public companies, which includes being part of two initial public offerings. Mike is currently Director and Associate General Counsel at Sprout Social, Inc., where he is responsible for legal matters related to securities, corporate governance, M&A, executive compensation, intellectual property, marketing, anti-bribery/anti-corruption, trade compliance, and whistleblower compliance. Michael is chairman of Sprout Social's ESG committee and serves on its disclosure committee.

Additionally, Michael has a financial background. He is certified in ESG and sustainable capitalism from Berkely Law and was certified as a Fraud Examiner by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. Prior to becoming an attorney, Michael attended law school at night while working full-time during the day at the U.S. Securities And Exchange Commission.
