In the off-hours, I teach creative writing at the Richard Hugo House. My first novel, Rock Bottom, was made into a musical by The Landless Theater Company in DC, where it received awards as part of the DC Fringe Festival. I've also written arts criticism for the Stranger and MSN Music.
