Nancy Neustaeter

Since 1999 I have co-owned and managed a small training and education business servicing the industry of Arboriculture across Canada. Arboriculture Canada is a specialized training company that provides hand's on training and qualification programs at various locations across Canada as well as at customers site locations. Each program is focused on specific skill sets that are required for safe and efficient operation as an arborist or tree care service. We also service other industries in the safe use of chainsaws, tree falling, hazard tree removals etc. A sampling of these industries is: utility linemen, wildland fire fighters, national and provincial parks workers, oil and gas, mining and recreational trail builders.

My role in our business has been to create processes for marketing, selling and delivering hand's on training programs for arborists and chainsaw operators. Project management skills are required to develop a training program, market, sell and successfully deliver a training program in a remote location. I manage a small office staff of 3 people and approximately 12 contract instructors across Canada. My current roles are focused towards streamlining registration and delivery processes, financial management and improving marketing strategies in an ever changing marketplace. I work hard so that I can spend as much time as possible enjoying the outdoors. My passions are firmly rooted in hiking, canoeing, kayaking, gardening, skiing, snowshoeing and camping as much as possible.
