I put to work 25+ years of experience in editorial management, content creation and marketing communications to tell compelling B2B stories that serve the business and empower the audience.
Creative Storyteller:
I’m experienced in writing and editing long-form articles, blogs, newsletters, and case studies as well as writing, planning, and executing email campaigns and web copy that fuel marketing programs and product launches. I love brainstorming new ways of telling a story—there are no old plots, only twists that haven’t been explored yet. My superpower is finding the undiscovered nugget of the story and polishing it until it’s golden. I am deadline-driven, passionate about storytelling, and try to bring a little bit of spark to every project.
Strategy:
I understand business goals first, then develop a content strategy and editorial calendar that support sales initiatives. My goal is to exceed the company’s goals while meeting the audience’s expectations. I’m experienced in interviewing subject matter experts, then transforming their expertise from complicated jargon into simple, approachable benefits-driven copy. Then I use the performance data to evaluate success and make tweaks where needed.
Editorial Leadership:
Over the years I’ve been a reporter, an advertising executive, a public relations manager, a director of content, a managing editor, and a thought leadership writer for agencies, brands, and publications, so I’m accustomed to quick pivots and multi-tasking. I’m an experienced team leader who can coach writers, direct content creators, and edit assets with an attention to detail that elevates the quality of storytelling across channels in brand style and voice.
