I spend my days coming up with the questions, words, ideas, and yes, PowerPoint slides that point people in the right direction. I spend my nights doing none of your business (unless you're into karaoke, improv comedy, and community theater).
For the past 20-ish years, I've worked as a writer, creative director, communications strategist, and brand developer. I'm particularly passionate about that last part as I've learned that understanding how brands work is a unique skill that combines the best parts of the art and science of marketing. Through my years at Y&R (not the soap opera) and my experience working with firms such as Landor, I've been able hone that skill — and continue to do so every day.
I got my degree in Advertising from the University of Houston and my degree in empathy (groan) from the different countries where I grew up. I believe "why" is the most important question, climate change is the most important issue, and the NY Knicks rule all.
