Radha Subramanyam, one of the media industry’s top research and analytics experts, was appointed Chief Research and Analytics Officer, CBS Television Network In November 2017. In 2019 she was promoted to the role of Chief Research and Analytics Officer for the CBS Corporation and also appointed the President of CBS Vision, the company’s “futures” function. Subramanyam possesses extensive experience in research and data analytics in all areas of the industry, including Broadcast, Cable, Digital, Direct to Consumer, OTT as well as Audio and Social Media. Subramanyam currently oversees all research operations for CBS, including audience measurement, analytics, market research, program testing and advertising research.

Till October 2017 Radha was President, Insights, Research and Data Analytics at IHeartMedia. Radha‘s tenure at iHeartMedia began in 2012, when she was named to the newly created position of Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing Research. In 2014, she was promoted to the role of President. Radha previously served in senior executive roles at Yahoo!, MTV Networks and Nielsen.

In 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016 Radio Ink named Radha as one of the Most Influential Women in Radio and featured her on the cover of their 2013 November issue. In 2011 and then again in 2016 she was honored as one of the Most Powerful and Influential Women in the Tri-State area by the National Diversity Council. Radha is also the recipient of the Women with Solutions award, from the Alliance for Women in Media, for her leadership in increasing awareness and access to science, technology, engineering, and math to young women. In 2017 Radha was on the Digital "It List (Cynopsis Media). In 2019 Radha was named one of the Power Women of New York by Variety magazine.

Radha began her media career at NBCUniversal after having previously taught media and entertainment at Vassar College and New York University. She holds a Ph.D. from Northwestern University.
