As Chief Economist at Diageo PLC, I provide detailed modelling, analysis, forecasting and technical advice on a global basis to senior internal and external stakeholders, including Group CEOs, Directors and Governments. I have built Diageo’s economic modelling and forecasting capability, which is now an integral part of the company, working with our in country teams to model changes in economic conditions which influence indirect tax policy and business planning. My strategic analysis and recommendations have been used in public policy campaigns in all our major markets. With over 15 year’s management experience, I have a strong track record of delivering and managing people across multiple work streams, often under tight deadlines.
