I’ve been fiddling with words for close to a quarter-century, including stints with some of the leading media groups in India—often hiring, mentoring, and leading editorial teams. It gives me as much joy to make something valuable and meaningful out of an idea or seemingly dull copy as it does to witness people grow and realize their true potential. Over the years, I have worn multiple hats—copy-editor, writer, editor, author, freelancer, panel moderator, event host—but I still wouldn’t put a cap on the possibilities heading my way.
A strong believer in Karmic philosophy, I hold certain values as eternal and universally appealing, including Integrity, Honesty, Love, Humanity to Others (called Ubuntu), and the Pursuit of Knowledge, Wisdom and Truth: Happiness, IMHO, is a bad goal but a nice ‘accidental’ companion to the daily rough-and-tumble of life. Individuality and Freedom get a lot of attention these days but when one looks closely, as Buddha said, we all exist and live in a phenomenon of dependent co-arising.
