With over 13 years of work experience in education, partnership & brand marketing, and sales, I am a community marketing leader with a passion for relationship building, influencer marketing, sustainability, and social impact. I have a Master of Teaching and a Bachelor of Arts in Education and Psychology from the University of Virginia, and I bring diverse perspectives and experiences to any team I join. My mission is to create meaningful connections and experiences that inspire and empower people to live better and happier lives.
Most recently, I was the head of Partnerships and Community Marketing at Outer, a direct-to-consumer outdoor furniture brand, where I most recently launched and scaled the brand's Influencer Marketing channel and Partnerships vertical, resulting in the company's highest-producing marketing channel. I also spearheaded the unique Neighborhood Showroom Program, which leveraged the power of word-of-mouth and peer-to-peer referrals to increase brand awareness and revenue, managed content creation teams and a robust brand marketing calendar, and led the sustainability and charitable giving efforts and partnerships. I used my communication, relationship-building, collaborative problem solving, organization, and time management skills to coordinate and execute multiple projects and campaigns across different channels.
While the first 10 years of my career was primarily centered on education, the past 4.5 in marketing for a fast-growing startup have provided me with a unique skill set and much to offer a growing brand or agency.
