Shakira is Director of Influencer Marketing at Burson. Her role is to lead the UK and EMEA on their Influencer strategies programmes across the business, based in London.
Previously, she was BMW’s Account Lead at Looping Group, where she developed their Global Influencer model from scratch and spearheaded Influencer programmes for their international activations. Prior to Looping Group, Shakira was Content and Partnerships Director at Wavemaker, where she delivered award winning campaigns for brands including Vodafone and Nationwide and led content and brand partnerships strategies.
Externally, she is a 2020 Campaign Faces to Watch winner for her D&I work across Nationwide. Shakira has also appeared on podcasts, speaks at industry events. She is hugely passionate about culture and gender equality and championing the future generation of female talent.
