I am a life-long, voracious learner. Hungry and curious, I am a lover of puzzles to solve in all aspects of life and work. I believe in using each learning to make the next time better. I am not afraid to ask questions and respectfully challenge the status quo; to me, the future is moving too fast to sit still and think any of us is done.
I truly enjoy collaboration. I am positively fueled by the ideas of others as we work towards a solution. I am a people person at heart and I love to see the unique talents that others bring to the table.
I see recognition as a daily requirement, not some leadership practice to ‘remember’ to do. To me, people feel valuable when you speak positivity and gratefulness to them on a daily basis. Teams need to know that their leaders see and appreciate their unique value.
I am the ‘Fixer’. When projects are broken, or new ideas need to be tested for the first time, I am known as the one to build the team to do it. I see broken things as opportunities—opportunities to learn, to make things better, to grow, to achieve something great. Impossible is a silly word.
I am an internal entrepreneur at heart. I have worked in various industries and organizations, B2B and B2C, and in each I have been a passionate early adopter and change agent for the future. I respect the history of how something came to be, but I will also always be looking ahead for how it can adapt to today’s environment and be better. My lens is one of both the longer-term strategic vision but also the tactical boots-on-the-ground planning for the team to accomplish the goal.
