I earned my first writing award in first grade, and that’s when I decided I wanted to be a writer. Twenty years later I was exploring my passion where it started, earning my MA in Children’s Literature at Simmons College in Boston. It was thrilling to dissect the complexity in seemingly simple and familiar texts. I became fascinated with writing that could entertain, inform, and inspire with accessibility and clarity for all readers.
I took those lessons forward in my career as a copywriter and marketing professional. I have worked to combine the principles of brevity, beauty, amusement, and precision into all my writing and design material.
