My "Why" in life is to help people succeed by enabling my people to conduct their business and allowing me to deliver in-the-moment-of-need learning experiences through the use of emerging technologies. I also love supporting organizations that have a primary goal of uplifting their customers through unique and experiential learning experiences.
ABOUT ME:
I am a people-focused, experienced learning and development performance support visionary; a seasoned voice-over actor, an award-winning instructional designer, an accomplished facilitator, and a keynote speaker; not to mention, an all-around nice guy (or so I've been told).
Personally, I'm a huge advocate of being of service to my community. I have raised more than $100,000 for various charities over the past 20 or so years. And when it comes to cycling, I've put more than 5000 miles on my bike raising money for HIV/AIDS charities, all doing this in honor of all of those we have lost to this dreaded disease.
With regards to my professional career, I'm acutely familiar with the latest tools in instructional education at a higher-ed and corporate level as well as older techniques. My focus the past few years has been on performance support or providing what my employees and customers need, when they most need it, in the moment of learning need.
WHEN AM I SUCCESSFUL?
You'll find me most successful when I'm rolling up my sleeves with my team and making learning miracles just happen. My years of working for non-profits have given me the skill of doing way more with way less.
In addition, I've worked in many industries that have given me a unique perspective on learning, which put me at an advantage over other candidates for jobs.
I'm a builder of experiences, that included establishing three corporate universities and learning departments on two continents, for three completely different companies.
