Combining my two decades of visual media production experience with a Ph.D. in Communication, I specialize in helping any organization (non-profits, corporations, newsrooms and film/TV productions) understand its social impact and strategize thoughtful communication through an equity and accessibility lens. I offer organizational strategic planning and project management as well as workshops + trainings on DEI, implicit bias, team dynamics, equity-focused public/audience communication practices.
As a visual storyteller, my images have been published in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, NPR, ESPN, Allure, The Atlantic, ProPublica, People, and many more. I have been a photo editor for Newsweek, CNN, and NY Times. Though I photograph a multitude of subjects, my personal work reframes visual representations of borders/immigration, gender, race, sexuality, and any historically marginalized communities.
As an educator, I have created and led award-winning college news media while teaching critical media production to emerging journalists and photographers at R1 universities, art schools, community colleges, and liberal arts colleges.
My photography, films, research and writing have been awarded by: Pulitzer Center; Reynolds Journalism Institute; World Press Photo; Knight Foundation; Folio Awards; Nieman Foundation at Harvard University; LA Center of Photography; and the Southern California Journalism Awards, among many others.

Mother | CEO/Founder, InfiniDEI | Energy Leadership Expert| Exec & Leadership Coach | Sales Leader | Fair Play Method Certified Facilitator | Women in Sales Advocate
After spending 10+ years in the software/technology industry as a sales leader, I realized it's impossible to avoid stress. How we respond to it impacts those we lead. Energy is everything.
Volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity can often lead to stress, frustration, rushed decision making, anxiety and resentment. When we learn how to understand our energy we have the power to shift out of reaction and into a conscious response. When this happens we show up in a state of compassion, calmness, courage and humility. When filled with this type of energy it's easy to coach, be curious, foster an inclusive culture, feel connected, and strategic.
InfiniDEI helps leaders move from a state of reaction rooted in stress to conscious response.
We develop human centric and inclusive leadership skills and traits through on-going experiences (workshops, reflection prompts and group coaching), 1:1 coaching and keynote speeches.
To strengthen my ability to help others, I've secured my Professional Coaching Certification from iPEC. As a CPC and ELI-MP, I help organizations and individuals find the root of most challenges and blocks to success. The root often includes: limiting perspectives about the world, defeating thoughts, and outdated beliefs picked up from past experiences, family, society, and the media. So many of us are trapped in negative thinking. These blocks play shape how people lead, motivate, sell and operate inside of organizations and hold them back from reaching their full potential.
The reality is, work life and home life are no longer separate. Over the past two years companies have lost a lot of women. And according to a study by McKinsey and LeanIn.Org. companies will likely continue to lose women. The challenges of the moment (childcare & housework) disproportionately affect women and have led to many leaving or scaling back their work. For companies looking toward the future, the importance of supporting women right now cannot be overstated, which is why I also took the time to become a Fair Play Method certified facilitator. The method offers a new way to divvy up domestic responsibilities at home. The more organizations equip their employees with an understanding of this and a system/plan to fix it, the more impact individuals will be able to have inside of their organizations.
Be a part of the solution and build a workforce of more conscious, equipped and accountable leaders who prioritize creating workplaces characterized by safety, dignity, and respect for all workers.
