I love building small businesses. I went to law school and business school, but I couldn't get excited about going to work for a big consulting or law firm. Small business growth is what I love. I get to do that every day at Infusionsoft... helping OUR business grow by helping tens of thousands of entrepreneurs grow their businesses using our marketing and sales software.
Specialties: All things related to small business growth.
20+ years in tech. Insatiable passion for building business.
I’m known for my no-nonsense approach to brand development & product marketing, good storytelling, and most of all - getting shit done. I champion a very hands-on approach, and I thrive in an environment where things need to move quickly and their impact is seen immediately. Most of all, I like to build things and see them grow. Whether it's leading brand & marketing for Huddle since its infancy to becoming the global leader in collaboration for government & enterprise. Or building a digital media and mobile consultancy whose clients included Disney, Nokia, Toshiba and Garmin. Or keeping my hands dirty while advising 50+ companies across software, hardware, mobile, telecommunications & networking and engineering.
I'm good at brand identity, brand management, integrated marketing, customer & user acquisition, online marketing, product marketing, content marketing, email marketing, inbound marketing, outbound marketing, communications strategy, media relations, analyst relations, crisis communications, internal communications, social media, geographic expansion. I'm unbeatable at team building.
I'm an actor and temporarily retired podcaster. I run a boutique recording studio. And I lead a 50k+ community of Girls Who Can't Surf Good (Yes, it is grammatically incorrect. On purpose. See Zoolander)
