I’ve been part of the Saas B2B startup space since the start of my career. Startups take a lot of grit and passion followed by heavy doses of resilience to successfully turn big ideas into practical solutions that solve real problems for real professionals. Try and try again, but do it better in the next iteration. Learn. And ultimately, it’s up to the leadership teams to define the culture and processes that make this possible.

Over the past seven years, I’ve moved from Comms and Marketing onto Executive Management, taking on part of the commercial side of the business. During this time, I’ve witnessed how easy it is for startups to get lost in the mix—with so many tools, platforms and channels to choose from. Most of these are distractions that eat up the very few good resources a startup has and muddy the performance of Marketing, Outbound, Sales, and Customer Success teams. It’s not about being everywhere and doing everything. It’s about doing what works and working together.

Having a solid vision that sets a clear strategy for the entire commercial team (Marketing, Outbound, Sales, and CS) is key to move prospects down the funnel—from quality lead generation to new business. And this is exactly where my area of expertise fits into the projects I'm passionate about.
