Khushi Lunkad Claimed
Growth marketer
Hello, I'm Khushi! I work with companies to get their marketing messaging right and uncover ways to drive growth using data. The long but brief story: Great at academics and great at sports but found my passion in growth marketing. Spent countless hours taking courses online and tested out those skills at 10 companies, in different industry verticals. I took a sabbatical of 6 months to get ridiculously good at marketing. Unsurprisingly, I have a major in marketing and a degree in business. Short term goal is to be great at growth marketing. Long term goal is to start something of my own and put these kickass marketing skills to use. Outside of marketing (if that ever happens), I take active interest in animal welfare, tech startups, and Karate. My mom thinks I should get a hobby other than marketing and she's absolutely right.

VP People & Culture - PolicyMe I Ex-Deloitte
My passion is building genuine and lasting connections and supporting Leaders in doing the same within their teams. I light up when others have 'ah-ha' moments based on something I’ve shared. I am at my best when helping organizations address their pressing people priorities, operating at the intersect of setting strategic direction and building and leading execution plans and teams. Engaged employees are at the core of organizational success. I understand first hand the difficulty in building systems that work, the complexity in creating an adaptive people strategy that enables companies to thrive. I simplify that process, working collaboratively as part of Senior Leadership Teams and Boards to enable organizations to benefit from the rewards of operating people-first. Not only am I people focused, but I am a highly strategic and operational leader. In the past I served as the CEO of a tech start-up, for which I was shortlisted for the Business Leader of the Year - Women in IT Awards in 2019. I am excellent at transforming business ambiguity and challenges into clarity and opportunity using my years of expertise as a trained Management Consultant at Deloitte. I have global experience, ranging across Asia, Africa, Europe and South America, and am fluent in both Spanish and English. I bring my experience in Management Consulting, People Strategy, Start-ups and Tech in conjunction with my understanding of different environments from living in 15+ countries, to create and deliver impactful solutions that truly fit market needs. In my spare time, I am a Speaker and Ambassador for Manitoba Women in Tech, the CMO and part of the Executive Team of TechWPG and coach start-ups on how to create winning pitches. I love engaging a crowd by sharing business expertise and my personal experiences. Specialties include: • Leading the People & Culture Function in an Organization • Operationalizing People & Culture Teams and Objectives • Leading and Measuring People Analytics • Organizational Change Management and Process Re-design • Talent Vision & Execution • Business Strategy, Business Transformation and Business Model Innovation • Public Speaking • Strategic Partnerships, Relationship Building and Stakeholder Management • Executive and Corporate Communication • Complex Problem Solving: Mixing Creative Thinking, Critical Thinking and Analytical Thinking • Senior Leadership and Board Level Experience • Workshop Design and Facilitation • Start-up Pitching If you'd like to get in touch, send me a message via LinkedIn!
