Sr Marketing Manager, Voiceflow | Been known to build a Bot or two 🤖 | Podcast Co-Host|
Hi I'm Sara đź‘‹
Big fan of the oxford comma, pasta, and marketing.
I started my first "adult" job 10 days after I graduated from college and grew from the first support rep to the power user of Drift inside of Drift.
I held 4 different roles, was recognized by the leadership team for upholding the leadership principles of the company, and awarded President's Club.
Then, I moved over to Alyce, helping them create the category of Personal Experience, grow a community of raving fans, and create a product and company that customers and non-customers love.
Now, I'm at Voiceflow, back to my roots as a growth marketer learning the PLG model and owning a community of 8,000+ conversation design experts.
From #5to9 you can catch me listening to True Crime Podcasts, training for a half marathon (I'm not running a race I just want to train to be able to run that many miles), reading, and eating.
I also co-host a podcast about professional growth and development. It's called Self Control & Cheese. Listen here: https://anchor.fm/selfcontrolandcheese

I am devoted to and excel in a few different areas—each area strengthening the others: providing leadership, guidance, and support to youth entrepreneurs; optimizing a companies performance by providing my strategic and financial expertise
As a Director at The Advisory Board Company, I provide analysis and insights to senior leaders in the firm on things such as but not limited to sales employee compensation, sales department budgets, and new business revenue. I am highly skilled in the areas of Analytics, Planning, and Operations.
I have been recognized for my ability to work well independently and collaboratively in support of our organization’s strategic mission and vision, by offering innovative ideas and critical thinking to successfully achieve objectives and goals.
I've worn many hats in my career-- financial analyst, manager, project manager, and strategist. As a result, I feel that I have a unique ability to manage multiple projects and navigate complex challenges. Most of my experience has taught me that my professional value comes down to a few key things:
- I've spent my entire professional career in finance and have developed a strong passion for my work
- I'm a team player, I don't care who gets credit, I just want to win.
- I run towards fires, and I make sure to bring my extinguisher with me
- I have big ideas, but more importantly I make sure to develop a plan to execute those ideas.
- I take the time to get it right
Specialties: Business & Sales Operations, Strategic Analysis, Executive Reporting, KPIs/Metrics, Product Analysis, Sales Strategy, Operational Management.

I am a software engineer with a communications degree and a knack for problem solving. I come from a colorful background, with experience in everything from customer service to live television to stand-up comedy to website management. I'm a big indie gamer, and love anything with a good story and creative mechanics. Empathy and community are values I hold very dear and ones that I will bring to any situation, personal or professional. I hope to one day use my powers for good and make something that helps people, or at least brings them a little joy.
