Brief History: After a year of driving a full-sized school bus to two dozen cities (story in the Experience section of my profile), I spent a dozen years leading marketing teams inside local television stations in Grand Rapids (MI), Chicago, and Colorado Springs. As boredom with the work crept in, I earned an MBA and did project work for a variety of companies to explore interests and identify transferrable skills. In that process, I connected deeply with the team and mission of a bootstrapped software startup, BombBomb. When I joined BombBomb, we had fewer than 10 employees. Since then, we've enjoyed +2,000% growth in team size, +32,000% growth in customer size, and +52,000% growth in revenue. We're a team of 125 people (based in downtown Colorado Springs but also distributed) who are on a mission to rehumanize people who've been dehumanized by system or circumstance; we're funding the effort by helping people rehumanize their business communication with video email and video messages. I've now spent a decade helping people enjoy clearer communication, human connection, and higher conversion by replacing some of their faceless, digital communication with simple, personal video messages in emails, text messages, LinkedIn messages, Slack messages, and similar. Current research includes developing and testing novel psychological treatments for people with schizophrenia, particularly the cognitive remediation software, CIRCuiTS. Also involved in eHealth and mHeath projects to benefit and empower people with mental health problems and those with neurological disorders. The latest exciting study involves testing different methods of implementing cognitive remediation treatment in services for people in touch with Early Psychosis services in the UK. The results will help to tailor treatments to individuals so they receive the most benefit. Editor of Journal of Mental Health, a peer reviewed journal that encourages mental health service users to take part in research and as authors of papers. She leads the Cognitive Remediation Experts Workshop - the world discussion group of people who develop and rigorously assess cognitive remediation treatments for people with schizophrenia and other mental health disorders.

Since 2005, I've worked in integration, analytics, data science, GIS, and financial reporting. I've worked as a Sales Engineer, Sales Manager, Product Marketing Manager, and most recently as a Director of Product. In April 2020, I moved to Sydney Australia, where I currently reside. Since then I've been doing some consulting for various customers, and have been maintaining a full time job at a US headquartered SaaS company. I'm now looking to make a change, finding a role which will have me working with people in the same timezone as myself. I'm an experienced, Scrum Certified product manager with strong skills in SQL (various platforms), Jira, Confluence, REST APIs, Sockets, infrastructure (AWS and GCP), and much more. Over the past few years, I've also been building my passion project, DataFetch.io. DataFetch is an In-Chat Data Retrieval platform, available for Slack and MS Teams.
